Rick´s Place (Lo de Rick) has been serving international guests for eight years. John Packett, the owner, has been living in Buenos Aires continuously for the past nine years. Formerly he was a co owner of an investment company in London, England. He was initially attracted to Buenos Aires by Tango but soon learned that there was so much more; the people, the weather, the food, the wine, and the ambiance of a cultural and historic city.
The intention at Rick´s Place is to provide a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment to friends old and new arriving in Buenos Aires, possibly for the first time. Normally we send an English speaking driver to meet our guests at one of the airports or ship terminals to ease their entry into this large city. We provide all the services and comforts of a top guest house with the ambiance of a happy home.
